A great place to get started on your landscape, this is the getting to know you phase where I ask questions, show photos, walk the property, discuss your needs and desires for your outdoor space. I will provide you with a set of questions for you to review and get you thinking before we meet. I encourage you to ask me questions as well. Now is the time to describe your dream garden, show me photos of elements you would like incorporated into your landscape (home and garden magazines are good places to find ideas), let your imagination run wild. The details you share will give me more insight into your personality and design sense. At the close of the consultation we will determine how to move forward with your project.

Design is a process to define specific elements to be incorporated into your landscape. We will discuss in detail the needs and usage of your landscape; your goals and any challenges your site presents. Another consideration will be how involved you want to be with the design/installation process and later maintenance. Please keep in mind the budget for your landscape is your decision and we will need to discuss what you are comfortable with. A well executed landscape will give you years of enjoyment and a favorable return on your investment. (see footnote below) I will present you with design ideas for review and for providing me feedback. Once we have a consensus on design, materials and budget we are ready to move forward with your project.

Now is the time ideas are transformed into reality. Each phase of installation is carefully implemented beginning with any necessary grading, contouring, swale or drainage issues your site may require. Soil conditioning and hardscapes come next followed by plant material, irrigation and mulch. Your site might include other personal touches such as garden art, container plantings, patio furniture, maybe a fire pit. My goal is to give you the garden of your dream’s from concept through completion, on time and within budget parameters.
